What's been going on...

Wow...it has been a while since I have updated this thing. A lot has gone on and yet...not so much. I returned to work on November 30th and it has been a blur since then. Grayson has re-joined his pre-school full time and seems to be doing great. He is full of energy and has so many questions. He definately has a mind of his own and can be quite challenging but my sister says these are qualities for the future...they just aren't working right now. Reagan is growing so fast. She smiles ALL the the time. All Grayson has to do is look at her and she is all grins. We look forward to this Christmas Season and the opportunity to share it with family and friends.

Grayson wasn't so sure about the stuff inside the pumpkin...so I had to finish.

What is this white stuff? Snowing in early October. YUP...and Grayson loved it. He shoveled the entire deck!

Daddy went to the Iowa vs. Michigan game and though Grayson didn't get to go...he wore his Hawkeye gear in spirit.

Reagan is 1 month Old

Grayson and Reagan are the best of friends. I wasn't sure how Grayson would react to having a sister but so far...he LOVES her. Lots of kisses and hugs and when she cries...he tells us to pick her up and give her a pacifier. He also reminds us to "feed her". Good thing we have Grayson.

Reagan is 2 weeks old

We have been able to spend lots of time outside thanks to the mild temps. Reagan just hangs out in her stroller while her brother plays and plays and plays.

Worm Hunting

Grayson thought it was so much fun to hunt for worms after a day of rain. He found this big one near our drive way.

After much deliberation we finally settled on a name. She likes it...it makes her sleepy!

Grayson has visited us every day and has been a very good big brother. He keeps saying..ok...it is your turn to kiss my baby!

Home Depot Working Day

For those of you who don't know. Grayson tells everyone that he works at Home Depot. The workshops they offer once a month have been a great opportunity for Grayson to tie on his smock and get to work. This is the second project he has completed. Now he has a kid sized bean bag toss.

The we headed to the "little farm hands" area where we learned how to be a farmer by moving our hay by tractor....

Planting seeds to grow our crops...

seeds need water to grow! and it finished with us selling our goods and buying a product with the money we earned...he got a box of cheerios.

We did eventually find the carnival rides...this is the first big ride Grayson has gone on by himself...it was high and fast and though he didn't smile while it was running he still says it was his favorite ride.

He went in some bumper boats and had a blast motoring around the pool.

Grayson found thr horn and would honk it everytime he went by us. Can you tell he liked it?
