Reagan...1 year at a glance

I put this together for Reagan's school. It will hang outside her room as she begins her transition to "older infants". Where does the time go?

The Great Minnesota Get Together!!!

Little Farm Hands was one of our first adventures after arriving at the State Fair. We learned all about being on a farm. The tractor drive was still Grayson't favorite part. We almost couldn't get away from the "big machines" He loved all of them.

This little ride has been a favorite for the last couple years. It was his first independent ride a couple of years ago.

The sweet baby girl was there for everything. She just strolled along with us...kicking her feet and flashing those blue eyes and everyone who looked at her.

I remember this ride from when I was a kid. I loved it! Oldie but goodie.

Reagan meets Sweet Martha. It is no surprise that Miss Reagan Anne loves Sweet Martha cookies. What can beat a fresh from the oven warm cookie.

"oink, oink"

A really nice family asked us if we would like them to take our picture. They said they never get a picture of their family and offered it to us. We in turn took their family picture. They were so thoughtful and sweet and were really kind as Graysond described that we were on our way to the big slide where last year his sunglasses got broken because they were in the pocket of his brown coat. How do kids remember so much?

Does Reagan look tired. I don't think so either. This was taken after 9:00pm and she had been up since about 3:30. We thought if we gave her the pacifier she would catch some ZZZ's. Too much to look at I guess. She didn't sleep until 10:20 just before we were on our way out.

Grayson saw these cars from a far and just had to ride them. It was pretty appropriate they ride in the Home Depot car considering that is where Grayson tells everyone that he works.

This was Grayson's last ride of the night. (Reagan had just fallen asleep) It was a pretty wild ride as the car spun around the corners. As you can tell...he LOVED it!

KFC Night at the Robbins house!

We brought out the highchair for Reagan and Grayson wanted to give it a try. It was all we could do to convince him that he was too big and he wasn't going to be eating his dinner in the high chair.

Reagan first tried the mashed potato she wasn't too sure....but
It turns out she likes KFC Mashed Potato as much as her Mommy...

She licked the bowl! Yummy!!!

Reagan is 11 months old!

Oh my gosh. Who is that big girl standing at the chair. Is that Reagan? How is it possible that she is 11 months old? Our baby is not so much a baby anymore. She has mastered crawling and pulling up. She has begun to cruise around the furniture a bit. Her smile is hilarious as her teeth are very far apart. She waves good-bye all the time...but not usually when we ask her to. She thinks Grayson is the funniest person in the whole world. Reagan continues to be our small wonder! I wonder what she will do next?

Reagan gets a haircut...sort of.

Yup...your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Daddy is cutting Reagan's hair. He didn't do too bad really.

Lunch on the boat...

We had a great time when the weather was nice. Lunch on the boat is always a big hit!

August Vacation: Turtle Races

We once again decided to head to Nisswa, Mn to participate in the Turtle Races. We were so surprised when Grayson won the first race. He received a ribbon and we thought that was exciting. Little did we know that Grayson would go on to win 2 more races. Results...3 wins out of 5. He was very excited to get his medals and even gave one to Daddy because he was there helping.
We celebrated with ice cream in Brainerd...yummy. Even Reagan had some ice cream...she wasn't all that interested but she did like a few bites.

We certainly made a day of it...we then hit the go kart track. Grayson was so excited to drive "Lightning McQueen"

Cabin Fun

Where did July go? It was a fun weekend at the cabin. Reagan played and played as evident by the toys all over the floor.
Grayson got in some fishing...look at the size of that fish...pretty impressive for off the dock. Both kids enjoyed the tunnel and Grayson was a great big brother coaxing Reagan into the tunnel for her first trip. Once she was in she really didn't want to get out.

This is Papa...he is wearing the John Deere visor we got at the zoo last weekend. It was too small for his head so they put it on his hat. He is a such a good sport. I actually think he liked it considering he also wore it the next day. Nothing runs like a deere.

All in all it was a great weekend "up north". Great weather, good food, family and friends.
